How Do You Deal with Little Annoying Habits of Your Beloved Ones?

littlr annoying things 300x209 How Do You Deal with Little Annoying Habits of Your Beloved Ones? My friend recently wrote to me on Facebook, complaining how much she is frustrated with her husband, because he never takes his shoes off when he comes home, even though she has asked him to do it a “million times”!

Is it the worst thing someone could ever do to you? Not really.

But to her it has been one of the primary fonts of all their fights and is a continuous frustration.

If you have been living together with another person for a long time, you start to notice those little annoying things that  they do. I remember that my roommate in college always left her comb full of hair right next to the sink. It was just a tiny thing, but it would still irritate me.

She, on the other hand, would get really upset if I left my cup of tea sitting on the table all day (I like using one tea bag and just adding hot water to it several times). These insignificant things do not make another person less likable or less worthy, but they still harm our relationships and provoke conflicts.

What is The Timeless Life Lesson That You Have Learned?

timeless life lessons 203x300 What is The Timeless Life Lesson That You Have Learned?Yesterday I read a post by Regina Brett about the 50 Timeless life lessons that she has learned. She wrote it as a reflection of her life just a few days before turning 50.

The most valuable lessons to me were,

“Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about.”
“When it comes to going after what you love in life, don’t take no for an answer.”
“Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don’t worry; God never blinks.”

Beautiful! There is so much wisdom there.

Have you ever thought about life lesson that you have learned over the years? It can be a truly powerful exercise in self-discovery.

My biggest lesson so far is:

“It is never too late to change something in your life. It is never too late to forgive yourself for past failures, to say “Thank you” for all the blessings that you have and to find your true passion.”

What is the Timeless Life Lesson(s) that you have learned? (more…)
