Activate the Circle of Giving This Christmas
Even though I trust the Universe and believe that I live in a wonderful world, I occasionally feel humbled by God’s ways and people’s kindness and compassion.
I wrote a post and sent an email about helping Sandra not really knowing what to expect. I have received so many positive replies from people all over the world, making donations, offering to do healing Reiki sessions, sending encouraging emails and asking how they can be helpful. (Even now, as I am writing these words and I cannot hold back tears of gratitude and joy. Thank you for everything you have done and continue doing for a girl from Latvia and her parents!)
I sometimes hear people say that the world is a heartless, uncaring and corrupt place, where only the strongest survive. In times like this I desperately want to make them meet all of you and say, “Now you see! There are millions of people who save lives, who help to collect clothes and food for the victims of earthquakes, who volunteer to feed old people in hospitals, who write letters to orphans, who readily help a stranger without expecting anything in return.”
